This course aims to address the lack of knowledge about how to enter United Nations (U.N.) system organisations and offers advice to enable everybody interested in a career with the U.N. to access information about the different recruitment, application, interview and selection processes as well as to help get U.N. system related questions answered.
Finding the ‘right’ U.N. system organisation that matches ones profile, skills and competencies, can lead to a fulfilling career where one can get the chance to leave an important impact on the world. It means working with people from all over the world, getting to know different cultures and strengthening ones multicultural team working skills while working on a good cause for human mankind and our planet.
Gaining a job at the United Nations however isn’t like most professions and requires some thought around how to build ones experience and skills to a desired role and how to prepare for the sometimes rather complex and time-consuming application and interview process.
Having worked for the U.N. for over a decade and being familiar with the U.N. values, processes, structures as well as communication guidelines, I provide expert advice on how to best prepare for an international career with an intergovernmental organisation like the U.N., the World Bank as well as International Development Banks.
Thank you very much for your interest in this course.
